HOMEWORK

Just a reminder that homework is set for Year 4 and 5.

Please record all homework in your Homework Journal and have a parent or carer sign off. These Journals will be sighted on a Tuesday.

1. Home daily reading (books of students preference 15 - 20 minutes per day minimum please record in your homework book and have a parent sign). Students always need to have a short passage ready to read out loud for our weekly fluency circles (oral expressive reading practice).

2. Spelling Revision (Spelling Sorts are accessible via link at top right Spelling Lists also accessible through Spelling City Link below).

3. Memorisation all of the times tables. It is expected that all students know 1 - 10 times tables at the completion of Year 4 and 1 - 12 by the end of Year 5. Students can write these out in their homework book or use the link Maths Drills in blue below.

4. Naplan practice tests are also recommended in preparation for the inevitable either this year or the next. See the link on the top right called "Naplan Practice" (Great Homework Resources Here).

5. IXL Maths and IXL English
There is an amazing variety of online learning resources here for all levels of ability and year levels through all the way to Year 12. See IXL link below.
